Detective John was ordered to deal with a murder case in the Shaolin Temple.When he
arrived,the monk who does sweeping at the front door brought him to where the murder
happened.
Detective John saw the master of the Shaolin Temple dead on the ground.John asked the
sweeping monk,Ng Hung about the cause of the death."As you can see,master's chest has
a palm mark,I believe he was killed by the Palm of Yu Loy,one of the deadliest move in
Shaolin Kung Fu.Hey look!There're only four fingers on that mark!It's missing a thumb!"
exclaimed Ng Hung.
John asked Ng Hung if there's anyone in the temple has four fingers on their hand.Ng
Hung pointed his finger on a young monk called Ng Jing,who has four fingers on his right
palm.Ng Jing denied killing the master."I lost my thumb in an accident,but I didn't kill the
master,I adored him!"
Detective John looked closely to the palm mark,"Hm...."mumbled John.He asked
everyboy in the temple to write a poem on a piece of paper,so all the monks took turns
writing poems,they didn't know why John asked them to do so.
When its Ng Hung's turn,John yelled at him,"Ng Hung!You are the killer!""When I
looked closely to the palm mark,I found that the pinky is on the left so it must be a left
hand.You wrote with your left hand so you must be a left-hander.You killed the master!"
Ng Hung admitted killing the master,he told John that he hated Ng Jing,so he had his
thumb under the palm so that everyone would think Ng Jing killed the master.
Soon the cops arrived and arrested Ng Hung,and they thanked Detective John for his
help.
